In the past weeks we have talked about the serious problems that are going through our oceans, there are already some initiatives such as the project, named The Ocean Cleanup, of Boyan Slat, a young Dutch student of aeronautical engineering that decided to focus their efforts and talent in the design of a project that will benefit not only to the marine environment, but to all humanity.
Unlike the projects presented today with the same goal, this guy proposes a passive pickup concept based on the following question: would you pass through oceans, if the oceans can move through you? Thus, your project plans the placement of a series of floating barriers and platforms heading to the bottom of the sea which will allow us to concentrate the plastic before removing it from the ocean in a process of collecting 100% driven by the winds and the ocean currents.
Instead of nets, the project posed strong floating barriers, to prevent trapped bodies of marine life, i.e. prevents dangerous by catch each year the lives of thousands and thousands of agencies charged.
Or the proposal for a California Brewery where their rings (if that which unites the cans) are completely biodegradable and edible
But all we can and we must do something, is the responsibility of all of us that every action we make has a consequence that your trash does not go by that comes out of your view
Here we will give you some ideas of how the planet and incidentally help the oceans
